What an amazing village and area, gorgeous house, beautifully decorated, wonderful Breakfast, excellent shower and facilities, Micaela was a friendly and helpful host, wonderful church square with great selection of restaurants, we are definitely visiting again as its close to Paris, a short train ride away!

My friend and I stayed for two nights with Micaela in her beautiful old town house. A perfect location for a visit to Versailles, just 20 mins by car. We stayed in a very well equipped attic room, very comfortable beds and a lovely shower. Delicious breakfasts of homemade breads, jams, pancakes and fresh orange juice. Micaela was the perfect hostess and made us feel very welcome. Plenty of nice restaurants within walking distance. We hope to return.

We stayed at Cosi à la Moutière on our way home from a week's holiday in the South. Micaela is a lovely host and she serves the most amazing breakfast. The house and garden are charming and our room in the loft (Collette) was comfortable and spacious. Montfort l'Amaury is beautiful but is largely closed on Sunday (including most restaurants) while some restaurants were closed altogether as patrons were en vacances.

We stayed for 3 nights. Micaela was an excellent host , she was most helpful and friendly. Cosi is well placed to explore the old town on foot. We could walk to a superb restaurant , which Micaela had recommended and reserved for us. We look forward to returning to Cosi and will recommend it to our friends. 16 August 2015.

This lovely b and b was an oasis of comfort and style on our journey from the south of France to England. Michaela has created a calm and beautiful house and garden and her welcome was warm and relaxed. Marvellous breakfast, big showers and piles of towels all made us feel pampered. We walked to dinner at one of the many local restaurants, a big plus after a long day in the car.

Our hostess was most welcoming. Could not fault this delightful establishment in any way. Would recommend it to anybody.

We enjoyed a family stay with 2 children during August 2012. Cosi is exactly as it appears in the photos, very chic and tasteful. Micki is a great host, her top tip was free parking in Paris during August which we used to our advantage and we learnt a lot about the history of guesthouses/hotels at this location. Breakfast was served in the garden and was excellent for all of us from 7 years upwards. Montfort is a beautiful small town and this B&B fits perfectly with it's general ambience.

The neighbourhood

Local points of interest from Micaela Tomasino

  • We're 45 minutes from Paris, 20 minutes from Versailles and 10 minutes from Rambouillet.
  • The home of the musician Joseph-Maurice Ravel can be visited. It has remained intact, as if he had just left a few minutes ago. Exceptionally the guide might let certain people play on his piano
  • Swimming, cycling and walking in the forest, shopping and dining in the city centre.
  • Many restaurants, cafés & boutiques at walking distance from the house
  • Thoiry animal park 10 minutes away. The Loire valley castles are 2 hours away by car, as is the Normandy coast.
  • Monet's home in Giverny is only an hour from the house
