Just an hour from Geneva airport, and only 150 meters from the lifts which will whizz you up to the Grand Massif, this well-equipped chalet is delightful for winter sports. Everything is made so easy for you: Rob and Vicky can organise to collect you from Geneva, boot and ski hire folk come to you, there’s a super hot tub for aching limbs and massage can be arranged in a trice. The food is sublime: hearty breakfasts will set you up for the day, homemade cakes will tempt at teatime, canapes are served before a three-course delicious dinner with wine. Feeling sleepy? Down to well-dressed bedrooms with goose down pillows and duvets, crisp white linen and waffle dressing gowns and slippers; bathrooms have power showers and White Company goodies. The light, bright, open-plan living room is beautifully-beamed and has smart leather sofas, a lovely wood-stove and stunning mountain views; there’s a separate sitting room upstairs for children or aloof teenagers and plenty of space for all. The ski-ing is wide-ranging and will suit all levels.
