Bed & Breakfast

Expect French style, clean and comfortable rooms, a super garden with shady spots to sit and welcoming, chatty Madame and Monsieur

7 rooms

Rooms sleep 2 – 5

The house is long-faced, and refined; the grounds (superb) come with a fishing pond and ‘aperitif gazebo’. The Migons (hugely interesting and friendly) have expertly renovated this unusual house with its barn-enclosed courtyard, two towers and covered terrace. Big, north-facing bedrooms are elegant and comfortable behind their shutters, and keep the housekeepers busy. Expect leather sofas and a suit of armour, colourful beams above antique furniture, two billiard tables, and bikes, ping-pong and drums in the barn. Your within an easy drive of plenty or towns and villages where you can get a jolly good supper.

Situated about a 1/3rd mile down a smooth track through its own grounds so very quietly situated. Lots of car parking. Beautifully maintained it is a striking building. Lovely large dining room (breakfast is the very best of continental...no evening meal) and a very large sitting room. The bedrooms are immaculate, very clean, very comfortable and all en suite. We've stayed in the larger ones on the first floor with a view over courtyard and in the attic rooms with view front and back(tight steep circular staircase). Large family room with 3 separate beds. Would we return again...of course

Le Mesangeau is a beautifully restored old house in its own beautiful grounds in a rural situation. The hosts are really charming and looked after us so well and the rooms are smart, spotlessly clean and full of nice furniture. Breakfast was delicious and nothing was too much trouble. We have been back twice since and would do so again at the earliest opportunity.

Le Mesangeau is a beautiful manoir set in the countryside but within easy driving distance of local towns and villages. Gerard and Brigitte maintain the property in superb condition inside and out – it’s spotlessly clean, well furnished, peaceful and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed out two day stay in Le Mesangeau and would detour to visit again if we were in the general area. The overall service was excellent, the French breakfast very good and our stay was reasonable priced. We very strongly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

I booked a stay with Gerard and Brigitte for 3 nights and ended up staying 6 nights before having to leave. Need I really say more. Their hospitality was exceptional and the surroundings beautiful. As hosts they went out of their way to make me very welcome and did all they could to help with anything we wanted. Gerard is a very knowledgable chap about the region and a host of other things including the cars and music you mention on your website. I would strongly recommend a visit - you will not be disappointed - and excellent value for money too !
