You’re sitting on top of a hill so the views are superb from the terrace with its smart loungers; bring a book or a newspaper and you may not stir for hours. Owner Luigi is proud of his breakfasts which change with the seasons and include baked cakes, fruit tarts, fresh local ricotta and other cheeses, hams made up in focaccia sandwiches and always fresh fruit.
It’s a quiet, grown-up sort of place where you shan’t be disturbed, there are hammocks to laze in, drinks from the fridge in reception and oil from the olives that surround you to taste, or buy. Bedrooms, two with private terraces and all with views, are light and comfortable and you can make yourself teas. Walk to the nearest beach, Captain Cook, in 15 minutes, or take the shuttle.
This is the wild side of the Sorrentine Peninsula and hiking is magnificent, as are the views, all the way down to the Point Campanella and the sparkling turquoise sea. Return to much peace.
