The Experience

Naples is a world of its own: fascinating, chaotic, contradictory. To get the most out of a stay, especially if you’ve never been before, this is the perfect place to start. Not only is the flat immaculate and centrally positioned, it is run by Guido, Gabriella and Gianfranco: a more delightful B&B team would be hard to imagine. Step in and take the quaint elevator to the palazzo’s fourth floor to enter a gleaming wide hallway. There are six bedrooms in all – spare, clean, full of light and quietly luxurious. You have super-memory mattresses, crisply ironed linen, walk-in showers, luggage racks, mini bars, TVs, and the odd family antique to add character. The largest room is ‘That’s Amore’, with an extra sofabed and a balcony over the beginning of the Spanish quarter. Our favourite is ‘Tarantella’, in warm reds and greys; it too has a balcony. Then there’s breakfast, served at the dining table, an Italian delight of coffee, tea, Neapolitan pastries and delicious homemade jams. As for your hosts, make the most of their knowledge; they know their city inside out – every fascinating corner.

Reviews

That’s Napoli is a fantastic place to stay, excellently located, large airy rooms, super clean and very comfy beds which are a delight after a busy day in Napoli! Guido was so helpful from start to finish. Rightly so he is passionate about his city and he knows it well, so was able to give us all the tips we needed to have a great stay. Absolutely recommend staying here and visiting Naples, it’s not to be missed, I’m sure we’ll be back!

A perfect location from which to explore. Guido was a great host, communicating quickly before and during our stay, taking the time to help us find restaurants, sights etc. Our room, That's Amore (a triple), was spacious, very clean and well equipped. Super comfy bed. The B&B is lovely. It was surprisingly quiet considering the chaos of Naples is on the door step. Would hope to visit again some day. Highly recommended, thank you.

Amazing hosts, gave me so much advice on food, places to visit and other must-dos in Napoli!! Also a gorgeous apartment, amazing service and view from the balcony's! Absolutely loved it and would definitely stay here again :)

Hannah, Hemel Hempstead

Thats Napoli is an amazing find. The rooms are lovely. Clean, light and airy and importantly with comfortable beds - necessary and very welcome after a day exploring this wonderful city. The B&B is in the Spanish Quarter which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it is very easy to find yourself just wandering through this unique area with its warren of narrow streets and alleys before finding a bar for that early evening Aperol Spritz. However, Guido is an excellent host who is passionate about his city and is a fund of knowledge about the many must see sites of Naples. In three days we barely

Once again, Sawday's recommendation was perfect. We loved That's Napoli, its spacious, light filled room, the warm welcome and wealth of information given by our host Guido and being in the very heart of Napoli. The room was spotlessly clean, we had spectacular views from the 5th floor down to the streets below. The room was a refuge of calm and comfort in contrast to the (fantastic) bustle of the city and we can't wait to return.

We would highly recommend staying at That’s Napoli. The location is perfect for all adventures around the area. Guido was the perfect host, spending at least an hour with us on arrival explaining all the wonderful things to see and places to visit in Napoli which made our time in this beautiful city all the more special. We will definitely return one day and would love to stay there again. It was immaculately clean and spacious.

Guido and Gabriella are wonderful hosts and very accommodating especially with all the uncertainty about Covid restrictions. I booked to visit a second time in 2021 after a previous wonderful stay in 2016, and then this had to be postponed by 12 months. The rooms are fresh, modern and immaculately clean with great amenities and with very central location. The location can be a little noisy but this is all part of the character of the Spanish Quarter and Napoli itself. Guido's recommendations for places to visit on this trip were excellent too. I'll be back as there's more to see!

Sue, East Riding of Yorkshire, England

The place to stay. Guestrooms are spacious, comfortable, very clean and feature a tasteful interior. Guido is a perfect host. Centrally located close to all means of transport. Don't miss the breakfast. You can enjoy Neapolitan specialities (cheese, pastries..). That's Napoli = The place to stay !

Pascale, Brussels

We had booked a family room for one night in August. However, we never made it to the city of Naples as we got caught up in the chaos of BA’s IT failure on 7th August. Guido was so accommodating all through the day whilst I was sending updates as to what time we would eventually arrive. Unfortunately for us we never did arrive having to spend a night in Munich’s airport instead. Guido was so lovely in not charging us for our stay and I would not hesitate to recommend his bed and breakfast if only for the amazing customer service! Thank you and I hope we can visit the city one day.

Jennifer, London

A beautiful immaculate place. Everything was of a very high standard and it was very centrally located Guido and Gabriella were charming friendly people who went out of their way to please you We are especially grateful to Guido for carrying our two heavy suitcases all the way to the port as my husband wasn’t well that morning A very clean immaculate B and B in the heart of hectic Naples

Anne louise, Sydney

We loved this place. Guido and Gabriella are excellent hosts. It was more like visiting friends than staying in paid accommodation. Guido gave us so much of his time when we arrived and suggested an excellent itinerary for us for the very short time we had. He recommended places for excellent coffee and places to eat. The bed was very comfortable and everything was spotless. We had the best breakfast of our holiday here. Cakes freshly baked by Gabriella and fresh berries with divine marscapone cream. Huge attention to detail. The tea was served in a china cup and saucer and the decor is really

Orla, Dublin

Guido and Gabriella made us so welcome in this vibrant atmospheric neighbourhood. They provided excellent detailed advice and recommendations for exploring the city. Rooms were contemporary despite being housed in a traditional building, we loved our balcony view. Breakfasts were delightful. That’s Napoli proved to be ideal for our small party.

Bob, Midlands UK

Really very special. Great room, richt in the middle of Napoli, but the special features are in particular: the hospitality, the inside tips and the special breakfast. Thank you!!

rob, den haag

I was travelling solo and had a couple of free days in Naples before meeting up with colleagues. Guido and Gabriella made me feel very welcome. My room was lovely (and cool) and the great breakfasts set me up for two busy days sightseeing. Guido also kindly took the time to recommend good places to explore and to eat - all of which were good local tips. Very happy to recommend "That's Napoli" as a great B&B from where to explore Naples.

Mel, Northumberland

Everything in this apartment was perfect: the location, the quality of beds and furniture, the amazing breakfasts, the very kind way of the hosts. Thank you!

daniela, buggiano castello/frankfurt am main

An amazing place to stay! Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts were fabulous and it was lovely to have all the different breakfast delights explained every morning. Super central location. Rooms were very comfortable. Will definitely return!

Kate, Petersfield

We loved our stay at That's Napoli for 4 nights before spending a week in Puglia and on our return before catching our return flight. It is very central so perfect for sightseeing with lots of good recommendations from Guido. The beds are super comfortable and it is incredibly quiet considering the location, so a good night's sleep each night. The breakfasts are wonderful with freshly baked cakes, fruits, cheeses, meats etc and really good coffee. We were looked after very well and made to feel very welcome like special guests.

Angela, Haddenham

This is the perfect place to stay in Naples, central but very quiet, enormous rooms with balconies, delicious home made cakes for breakfast and a very charming host who could not have been more helpful. I loved being in a proper flat in the city rather than a hotel and would definitely stay there again

Miranda, Haywards Heath , West sussex

This is a really good place to stay. It is in the centre of Naples, within easy reach of all the key sites. The rooms are large, very comfortable, beautifully clean.Breakfasts are plentiful and delicious. Guido and his colleagues are kind and welcoming, full of useful information about Naples and could not be more kind and helpful. I was there for five days with my family and would gladly return.

Charles, London

Stylish and comfortable apartment, very close to Via Toledo, the port and historic old city. Guido and Gabriella proved to be very welcoming and helpful hosts. The breakfast included excellent coffee, delicious freshly squeezed juices and wonderful homemade cakes. Guido was a fount of useful information regarding places to visit, recommended restaurants and the best local ice cream ( sorbet of mulberries from Mount Vesuvius was a revelation!). A lovely place to stay and we hope to go back.
