Local points of interest from Giovanna Di Rao

  • Apartment inserted in an ancient complex of 1600 that overlooks a large garden with ancient trees. Articulated on two floors, consisting of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, large living room with dining area and relax with fireplace, equipped kitchen, WI-FI.
  • Furnished with simplicity and elegance, this residence offers the charm of the old houses and the colours of a still intact landscape. Completely renovated, it has all the amenities for a comfortable and relaxing daily life.
  • Climbing the stairs you can appreciate the rock walls and a graceful trompe-l'oeil. Inside the high ceilings with wooden beams create a warm atmosphere, but the presence of the rock offers, even in the torrid summers, a cool and restful climate.
  • Guests can always count on someone's presence for information and requests during their stay. The house is equipped with dossiers and books that help travelers both for the management of the house and to choose itineraries and trips.
  • The context is full of opportunities for recreation and offers the opportunity to discover alternative routes, reserving unusual and fascinating aspects; hiking in the Sabini Mountains, discovering nature and cultural itineraries, free climbing.
  • Walking a few kilometers with the car you reach picturesque villages of Sabina. The paths of the Via Francigena and the Cammino di Francesco wind a little distance, Rome can be reached in just over an hour, even by train.

Giovanna Di Rao

Giovanna and her recently retired husband are from Rome and have lived in the Sabina area for many years, currently in a property in the neighbouring village. They have carefully restored this two-level apartment, part of the former stable of the medieval castle. Passionate about the local area they love to welcome guests to a property that is part of the village’s history and they are a great source of information on walking/cycling routes and the best eateries in the area.
