The Experience
Straddling a hill your ship-shaped hotel looks out over the Baia del Silenzio – the kind of view that gets you every time. Breakfast on a selection of fresh fruits, prosciutto, local cheeses and breads. The pool area and roof terrace are made for reclining with something refreshing. Choose from garden or sea views in your comfortable room, though you won’t be spending too much time here with a backdrop like Liguria to tempt.
Spend the day wandering the streets of charming Sestri, stopping for a nibble of focaccia and a cappuccino whenever you see fit. After a ‘long’ day, the hotel’s two restaurants – one in-house, the other just steps from the sea – are a joy, with Mediterranean flavours and delicate music. Feast on fresh seafood and cocktails whilst gazing out at the bay.

Location
The neighbourhood
Each less than an hour’s drive: visit Genoa for gelato, the Cinque Terre for fresh seafood and Portofino for trofie pesto pasta - you’re in Italy, after all. Nicolo and co. will point you in the direction of local hikes, sailing excursions and bike rentals to work off the focaccia. Stay close to the hotel for a massage in their small wellness area, wine tasting or cooking classes with the chef. The charming town of Sestri makes for beautiful wandering.

Introducing
Nicolo Mori
Nicolo’s grandfather bought the hotel in the 1920s and charismatic customer service and guest comfort have been at the forefront ever since. Passionate about creating a home-from-home experience for his guests whilst delivering luxury service, Nicolo’s warmth pervades across this sprawling site, so much so it feels distinctly smaller than it really is.
For a change of pace, the full service hotel with many amenities can be quite an advantage especially when the location is the highest place in the city, with views that never lose their wow effect. Evening aperitivo, sumptuous buffet breakfasts, seafood dinners all with the same panoramic views of postcard promontory, Sestri Levante. Nicolo and his family and staff offer a memorable stay
