The
Experience

You’re in an elegant part of town. The florist below is like an art gallery and shoppers get their fix nearby. No need to worry about noise though; the apartments are in a historic Liberty style building in a leafy residential area. Both have high ceilings and period details abound. Beds are good, the linen is first-rate, and – a rarity for Italy – towels are fluffy. Casa Broggi, on the first floor, has a homely feel with a mix of antique pieces and paintings, and a sparkling green mosaic bathroom. The kitchen (with hob but no oven) is great for the basics. Recently renovated Little Broggi, on the third floor, is bright, cheery, and ideal for couples or friends. Many of the furnishings in the colour-themed rooms have a story to tell; the kitchen has all you need. Jane moved from Scotland 20 years ago and lives in a separate wing with her Italian husband and daughter. Immensely kind and helpful, she’s particularly sensitive to families and provides everything from strollers to high chairs. A wonderful peaceful place to return to after a day’s exploring magnificent Milano.

Reviews

Amazing start to our Italian adventure. Jane's welcome made us feel like we were staying with family. Apartment beautifully and thoughtfully presented and had everything we needed from guidebooks and adapters to tea milk and some biscotti! Central location made exploring a breeze and Jane and previous pleased guests had lots of suggestions. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Milan especially with a child/children. Great base to travel from and just quietly the shopping around the corner is sublime! We will be back- thanks Jane!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Little Broggi - perfect location and beautiful apartment. Jane was the perfect host - welcoming and helpful in every way. I would recommend Little Broggi to any visitor to Milan - we certainly hope to return.

We stayed for four nights in this quiet palazzo in residential Milan. High ceilings, light, airy and well equipped. Felt like coming home after a busy day in the city. Absolute highlights were the food tips from lovely host Jane. Having dinner amongst the locals was great.

Just returned from a wonderful stay in Little Broggi. From initial email contact with Jane to her meeting us at the apartment, it was obvious she was committed to making our stay special. The apartment is centrally located, very convenient for shops and restaurants many of which Jane recommended from her extensive local knowledge. The apartment was immaculate, recently renovated with great taste right down to the little things. It a real home from home complete with an umbrella at the door which was sadly well used during our stay! Would definitely recommend Little Broggi .

We came to Milan to watch the Milan - Inter derby. From the booking and correspondence right through our stay; we couldn't have been happier with the quality of the palazzo apartment, the location (adjacent to a metro for ease of travel anywhere in Milan) and incredibly friendly and attentive help from Jane. We had an absolute nightmare with our tickets via a third party ticket website based in Spain, and Jane was even kind enough to leave us a bottle of wine (and print our tickets!) to soothe our frustration. I am sure we will be back. Thanks again for all of your help Jane. See you soon :)

A very warm and hospitable welcome from Jane at the start of our holiday; she is a fund of knowledge about Milan, its culture and local restaurants. A lovely clean spacious flat, ideally situated in a quiet area yet near the metro and wonderful shopping. Stunning art and architecture - we walked miles every day, and part of the charm is getting lost, pausing for coffee and pastry and people watching.

Our four night stay at Casa Broggi was wonderful - Jane was so welcoming, friendly ad helpful. It is a delightful home, and wonderfully well equipped and decorated. A thoroughly relaxing place to come back to after a day's sightseeing in the city - we can't praise this apartment enough. A perfect alternative to the usual hotel options. An easy 20 minute walk into the historic centre - going via Giardini Pubblici makes it more pleasurable too. Would highly recommend Casa Broggi for a city break stay.

That we had a wonderful time in Milan was largely due to the location of this excellent property, the property itself and the efforts made by the proprietor, Jane, to make us as comfortable and feel as welcome as possible. It is no exaggeration to say the lengths she went to were well over & above anything that could reasonably be expected, even to the extent of personally driving us to the station when we left! We found the accommodation itself to be absolutely spotless and, in respect of everything including the kitchen and bathroom, to be very well appointed. Thanks for everything, Jane!

Little Broggi is in a lovely quiet street but still near to the centre of Milan. We chose to walk everywhere but metro stations and tram stops are close by. The apartment was spotlessly clean and fresh and equipped with everything you might need including tea, coffee and milk and, as it was Valentine's Day, prosecco and chocolates. The owner, Jane, was very friendly and helpful, ensuring we had an enjoyable stay in this city full of all sorts of things to see and do.

Little Broggi provides comfortable, spacious and quiet accommodation that make for a very relaxing stay in Milan. The apartment is in easy reach of all of Milan’s many attractions – places can be accessed by public transport or by foot if you feel energetic enough. Jane is a lovely, welcoming host who does everything she can to make your stay enjoyable and provides plenty of useful information regarding local shops, restaurants, transport etc. The apartment has every amenity for a pleasant stay, including a very comfortable sofa bed. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Last year whilst visiting Milan for the F1 Grand Prix at Monza we stayed at Casa Broggi. The apartment was perfect for us. A perfect location, and with the perfect host what more coud you ask for? This year we returned and stayed at Little Broggi. We absolutely loved this little gem of an oasis of calm in Milan. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Jane is a warm, friendly and altogether fantastic host. We hope to return in 2016 and would not hesitate to recommend both apartments should you be visiting Milan. You wil go far to find anything better!

I found Casa Broggi to be the perfect location for my first visit to Milan. Jane was very helpful in answering my questions and offering her advise and expertise on sightseeing and tour planning. For both shoppers and walkers, the location is ideal with many restaurants and shops nearby. The main train station is also very close if you are planning on any day trips. If I am lucky enough to travel to Milan again, I would definitely return to Casa Broggi.

Daria

Great base from which to explore Milan. Convenient for shops, bars and restaurants and for accessing town and the delights Milan has to offer. Jane was so welcoming and helpful and really made us feel at home. We have lovely memories of our trip to Milan and hope to return to Casa Broggi very soon!
