The Experience
Your semi-detached villa stands just 20 metres from the sea on a stretch of Sicily’s northern coastline that’s famous for its turquoise waters. Floriana and her family live in Palermo but their summer house is next door, and she’ll greet you with a glass of chilled white wine or freshly squeezed orange juice and some local cookies.
Find a welcome basket in the small galley kitchen with typical Sicilian products – olive oil, wine, sodas and fresh fruit. Here, it’s all about outside living, with shaded pergolas, sunbeds on the lawn and a jacuzzi on the back porch. You’ll find snorkelling equipment, canoe, mountain bikes and surfboards too.
Barbecue your supper in the garden or walk ten minutes to the nearest village for restaurants. Hiking and biking trails leading to Madonie National Park start about 15 minutes from the house – discover authentic mountain villages away from the summer crowds. You’re only 20 minutes’ drive from picturesque Cefalù, with its cathedral and shops selling colourful ceramics and great food.

This fabulous house is on a quiet, clean beach with beautiful views. It’s 10 mins’ cycle to town & close to a train station (for Cefalu/Palermo). The rooms are spacious with ample storage & lots of space outside for dining/lounging. Everything is very clean & well-kept. Floriana & Andrea are perfect hosts & have thought of everything you could need: games, beach equipment, sports equipment (+hairdryer, washing machine). They were so kind and helpful before & during our stay & always available by phone/message - like having your own concierge service! A wonderful holiday - we would go back!

If you are looking for a beach house holiday metres from the sea then look no further than Cefalu Beach House. The house is immaculate. It's beautifully appointed, well equipped and tastefully designed. While the kitchen is small, it has a toaster, coffee machine, kettle, microwave and hob. There is no oven though. Every room is light and airy. There is a hot tub and a table tennis table & bbq. There is also a kayak and paddle board, bicycles, snorkels and goggles, jelly shoes and beach towels. Floriana and Andrea are super hosts and were very welcoming. We really enjoyed our holiday!

I loved everything about Cefalù beach house, from the warm welcome by Floriana and Andrea with their freshly squeezed orange juice, to the high level of comfort of this adorable small house. And of course the incredible position. As a sealife lover I would recommend this house to anybody who can spend the day snorkling, admiring starfish and pristine seabeds, within a few steps from the house.

Location
The neighbourhood
The nearest village, Finale di Pollina, is one kilometre from the villa and has a 16th-century tower and a café with gorgeous views from Cefalù to Capo d'Orlando – on clear days you can see the shape of the Aeolian islands far in the distance. In summer there’s often live music on the terrace next to the tower. Restaurants include pizzerias and traditional fish restaurants with terraces offering sea views
Local points of interest from Andrea Cammareri
- Beach house is the ideal place for all of you who love the sea and would like to get up to view the sunrise, having breakfast by the sea, rocked gently by the soothing sound of the waves; or admire the sunset and the memorable pink sky.
- Admire breath-taking view over the Aeolian Islands, that also inspired a famous AD for D&G. The water has a lovely turquoise colour, from which derives the name of Turquoise coast, which is awarded the blue flag each year for its crystal clear waters.
- A charming location where I spent every summer of my teenage years, I think that even the pebbles in the sea have a soul here. I would like to share this magical place with people that like me love nature and the sea.
- One can decide whether to dine in the shade of the pergolato or light a candle on the small blue table by the sea, in admiration of the starlit sky and maybe discover new constellations!
- Gole di Tiberio is only 11km away from the house. It’s the ideal location for people that love nature and would like to experience this beautiful natural canyon, awarded the Geopark Network status by UNESCO.
- The house is only 20 minutes away from Castelbuono, typical village in the Madonie, where during the summer one can find many cultural events, or try (for free) the famous delicacies of Fiasconaro patisserie.

Introducing
Andrea Cammareri
Architect Floriana and her accountant husband Andrea run two places in Palermo and take great pleasure in hosting guests and sharing the love they have for their favourite places. They spend most of their summer here with their children but are always available over the phone.
We were looking for a last minute break in a peaceful seaside location in Sicily and found exactly that with Floriana's lovely beach house. The house is exactly as shown in the pictures although the kitchen is probably a little smaller than we hoped - not a problem when you have the huge outside space with BBQ and dining area. The best thing about the house was the amazing sunset views every evening but we also loved how well equipped it was - Flo has thought of everything and we loved using the bikes to visit Eden bar for fresh pastries in the morning. Flo is a great host!
