The Experience
Wind your way up the sparsely populated hill, past scrub, cork oaks and oleander, to a large modern villa with a breathtaking view. Bask on chic loungers, float in the pool, gaze on the Tyrrhenian Sea.
The architect owners, a Polish couple who love Sicily, have built the house of their dreams. Local wood and stone dominate their design, an African theme informs the décor, and windows open to terraces on three levels, with sea views for everyone. The garden glistens with olive, apricot and almond trees. Cook outside, shaded from the sun. Bedrooms, three in the house and another in the annexe, are plush and pleasingly secluded.
Friendly Massimo, who comes from Cefalù, offers you aperitivos on arrival, and helps you plan the best for your stay. Boat trips, wineries, massages, yoga, cookery classes in your kitchen…he happily arranges it all.

Location
The neighbourhood
Drop down to little Sant'Ambrogio (5km) for faded Sicilian charm: a general stores, a campanile on the piazza, a rustic pizzeria, a bar for aperitivos, and the lovely, family-run Bacchus Osteria. For shops, restaurants and golden sands, head for picturesque Cefalù, a 15-minute drive. Up in the hills: medieval villages, abandoned farmhouses, and wonderful walks on Monte Carbonara.
Introducing
Massimo Villas Collection
The villa is one of several managed or owned by Massimo Provenza. Fully committed to guests' needs, he started his hospitality business in 2003, renting out property and arranging customised tours and 'experiences', from in-house yoga and massages to chefs' cookery classes. He or one of his team meets and greets guests, and provides a friendly concierge service throughout your stay.
The recently built Villa Luna provides an efficient and contemporary base from which to explore the northern coast of Sicily near stunning Cefalù. Outdoor living areas abound, including the second kitchen, and the clever owner/architects concentrated on capturing the Sicilian light and spectacular coastal views from every angle. Hotel amenities and services available like a resort experience.
