The Experience

Bourganvilla strewn walls and quiet streets make up this remote village – leave your worries at the bottom of the hill, you won’t need them. Days are spent blissfully here; the beach of Carrapeiteira is a five-minute drive away; surf the waves or surf the sand with binoculars and spot dolphins and whales. The Costa Vincentina Natural Park is the perfect backdrop to hiking and birdwatching. Families will love Bordeira beach for its natural swimming pool where the river meets the sea. Grab some octopus from the local market on your way back from the beach; fire up the BBQ and gather round the large table with your dearest. As we said, leave your worries at home.

You’re set with everything you could need for downtime; all the basics are in the kitchen and there is a pile of books and games. Stoke the fire, open your complimentary bottle of wine and set the world to rights.

A charming traditional Portuguese house , renovated to look very chic nestled into the hills of Bordeira smelling of sweet pine and eucalyptus . Very tranquil and quiet with the sound of birdsong. An ideal place for a family holiday near stunning beaches backed by high sand dunes. Great surfing, nature trails and trekking. Great local Portuguese dishes and locally caught fish.
