We spent an entire month off-season here and were completely happy with the choice. The location of the enchanting house could hardly be better, all the important places such as supermarkets, ferries to the islands or the train station, can be reached in a few minutes on foot. The terrace offers a great all-round view. Reliable wifi was pretty important to us because we also had to work, it didn't even let us down. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. Heating with the air conditioning also worked impeccably. Communication with Katy was always friendly, straightforward, and helpful.

We used Katy's Olhao townhouse as a base to explore the Algarve over a 10 day visit. The home is very well-appointed, spacious and centrally located. When we had a rental vehicle, there was always free parking available on the streets nearby. Walking distance to everything in Olhao, and after a day of exploring, a great place to come back and relax. All amenities were as listed plus more. A very enjoyable stay all around!

Katy’s place was great and she’s been a great host. The place is extremely well equipped, everything you may need will be there. Great roof, equipped with a mini fridge, bbq and comfortable sofa and seats. There were also sunbed on a higher point on the roof that overlooks the islands. Highly recommended.

Great stay spent in this house which is very comfortable, perfectly located and well-equipped. Katy is responsive and quick to respond to questions. In short,... ideal house to discover this beautiful city of Olhao and have a lovely time in the Algarve.

Fantastic place, beautifully renovated and in a great location. The two roof terraces have amazing views over the town. The kitchen is modern, the beds are comfy and the WiFi is excellent. You can’t really ask for more.

Simply wonderful. Brilliantly located for great restaurants and taxi’s to brilliant beaches. The townhouse has been well renovated but still authentically Portuguese. You’ll love the roof terrace.

What a delightful home, immaculately clean and well presented, very spacious with multiple areas to relax. The roof terrace and BBQ area were a real treat with great touches like the outdoor fridge. The location was on point with bustling restaurants and shops on the doorstep. I would highly recommend this property for a family or couple who want to get away and experience a little bit of luxury.

Casa Candido was one of the highlights of our European vacation —if you are fortunate enough to book a stay in this stylishly decorated historical townhouse in the beautiful coastal town of Olhao, your only dilhemma will be to choose between the many fine dining local restaurants , the beautiful vast white beaches, or indeed how long to spend watching the many colours of the glorious sunset from the rooftop terraces - the latter a heavenly memory that will remain with us forever. This beautifully renovated townhouse is the ideal base for exploring Olhão with its wonderful restaurants, and nearby islands and beaches. Soak up the sunshine and views from the fabulous roof terraces after a busy day exploring!

Beautiful house in the centre of Olhao, finished to a really high standard. Super comfortable, with A/C in the bedrooms which really helps you sleep when the temperature rises as it always does in high summer. Stunning tiled central staircase and not one but two terraces! We loved it and have already booked to return next year.

Lovely contemporary townhouse. Superb views from roof terrace. Ideal location for beaches and superb restaurants. Tastefully furnished, immaculately clean , super comfortable king beds. Highly recommend.

Beautifully decorated traditional house with all the luxury of a modern home. Every detail has been catered for to a very high standard. The location is a two minute walk from restaurants and bars and also the access to the islands which have lovely beaches restaurants and bars . We loved staying in the hub of the local village and enjoyed the modern accommodation . Would highly recommend this house . It’s just really cool house in a really cool place.

This villa is a real hidden gem in the characterful and unique town of Olhao. It is tucked away on a quiet street, a few streets back from the lovely town centre with its wonderful markets, along with many great bars and restaurants. The decor of the villa is exceptional, is very clean and has everything you would need in a home away from home type of holiday. A short ferry ride or water taxi takes you to the beautiful islands of Armona and Farol, with its long stretching, quiet beaches and variety of great beach bars. We hope to return soon and would have no hesitation in recommending.
