Part of the Ramsbury Estate, The Bell is a classy new-wave inn and one that showcases Ramsbury Estate produce. Come for Ramsbury beers, gin and vodka, kitchen garden fruit and veg, and seasonal game. Enjoy a pint of Gold in the smart, hop-adorned bar, or bag the sofa in the library-style lounge and entertain yourself with a copy of The Field. Pop into the stylish restaurant for dishes such as pan fried scallops, Kelmscott pork loin or The Bell's favourites: Ramsbury Gold battered haddock and Butts Farm rare breed steaks. As for the village, it's really pretty, and the pub, sprucely off the main square, is 100 yards from the river bank.

"A very fine dining pub, with unusual dishes and attentive staff. We also stayed in a room over the pub, refurbished to a high standard. We'd certainly stay again - first class."

"O my! What a find. We travelled less than an hour for a quick overnight stay, eager to make the most of our daughter's absence from home for just one night. We stayed in Pike, beautifully decorated and very comfortable.Dinner was just perfect,- original starters and the very best lemon sole I have ever tasted. My husband is still drooling over the chips. At breakfast the following morning we had the restaurant to ourselves but this didn't affect the service at all. We were not hurried or ignored. A choice of yoghurts to accompany muesli, the crispiest bacon, creamy scrambled eggs, extra toast - a great start to anyone's day. We were rather nosey and asked to look at the other rooms, which we were shown. All perfect. We will happily return and the best thing is, it's close enough for Sunday lunch, an evening meal or anothe run away weekend. Perfect in every way."
