Mark and Sarah’s hospitality is second to none. Luxurious rooms with dramatic wallpapers, chocolates and sherry. Superb breakfasts too

The Isle of Wight and the Needles loom large as you approach Milford on Sea: the beach is shingle, the views are amazing. Mark and Sarah have become dab hands at B&B and welcome you with tea and cake in the conservatory; their award-winning breakfasts with home-laid eggs are delicious too. Warm bedrooms have deeply comfortable beds topped with excellent  linen, designer walllpapers, decanters of sherry and gleaming bathrooms with fluffy towels. One room opens to the lush garden: magnolias, weeping willow and pond. With Mark's background in hospitality and Sarah's passion for cooking the service here is second to none.

"Above and beyond: Mark and Sarah (+ 2 adorable 4-legged friends) went out of their way to make our stay special. It's the small things that count, and these guys get that so, so right. Their local knowledge is absolutely spot-on, including bar and restaurant recommendations. Many great places in walking distance. Carefully selected, locally sourced New Forest foods really made breakfast- as did Sarah's handmade granola. Very tasty! 4-poster room was incredibly clean, comfy and classically stylish. Chaise longue overlooking village green a nice touch Would we return? In a heartbeat"

"Sarah and Mark made us very welcome and so did their two lovely, well behaved dogs! Tea and homemade cake upon arrival, delicious breakfasts and the most wonderfully comfortable bed, in a beautifully decorated room, overlooking the garden, made our stay memorable. Sarah made biscuits non - dairy especially for me and Mark made sure we found our way to our destination with a specially printed map. Bay Trees is in the town of Milton and is well - placed for the coast, nearby restaurants and places of interest. A lovely place to stay."

"Only able to stay for one night but made so very welcome. Our children loved it, especially the pets Elvis & Cleo. 6 year old wanted to stay for ever! Comfortable beds, great breakfast, really excellent. Thank you Mark & Sarah."
