Brook Farm House is such a charming place to stay. It felt like a beautiful corner of the world where we could get away and have some space. The lady of the house was so attentive throughout our stay - she was absolutely wonderful. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. Every time we came back from a walk, she would bring a in tray with a steaming hot pot of tea and some delicious home-made treats, which we enjoyed in the comfort of our own private sitting room. My favourites were the lemon drizzle loaf and her divine shortbread. She has since sent me the recipes for both. We'll be back!
