The Gate House

This beautiful house embraces you the moment you walk through the door . Everything is there for the perfect stay, character and charm oozes from every room. Comfortable lounge with wood burner , spacious dining room , plenty of space to seat us all for Christmas dinner. Wonderfully equipped kitchen, obviously stocked by an experienced foodie. Add the media room , the table football was a big hit with every generation, as was the hot tub. All in all you have the perfect home away from home. Jonathan and his staff were wonderful, very attentive ....

Another wonderful stay at the Gate House. We first stayed here when we got married at Deans Court so it was the perfect place for us to return to for a family event. From the thoughtful welcome note to the extra touches to make us as comfortable as possible, we truly had the best time here and only wish we could have stayed longer!

A perfect property for big family get-togethers. The media room and hot tub were a particular hit with the younger generation, and we all enjoyed the easy stroll into Wimborne town. It felt such a privilege to spend time in such a beautiful historic house. ..... Precious memories were made. A warm, comfortable, beautiful property in a perfect location, and we really appreciated the Christmas tree in the hallway, the wreath on that stunning curved front door, and the generous welcome pack.

As a group of friends we have stayed in several large houses over 20 years. The Gate House was definately up there as one of the best! Wonderfully comfortable and warm, with so much space for different activities. We also generally stay in the middle of nowhere, but having lovely Wimborne on our doorstep gave us more choice.

13 of us who have been friends for over 50 years were staying in The Gate House which was perfect for everyone. Walking distance to the town. Facilities in the house were great for us and as we were recommended we will recommend also.
