The Experience
The countryside around the cottage is lush, filled with wildlife and birds; walkers and cyclists will be in their element and can return to much comfort. On rainy days you can pile some more logs on the open fire and watch a film, read a book, or simply gaze at the greenery from the padded window seat – patio doors open directly onto the garden and light pours in.
Two bedrooms have lovely views, beautifully dressed beds, pretty fabrics in curtains and blinds, and smart en suite bathrooms with proper baths as well as showers. On balmy days you’ll be out in your garden, gently swaying in the hammock, lighting up the gas barbecue, waiting for nightfall and a spot of stargazing by the firepit.
Rustle up meals in the well-kitted-out kitchen while others chat at the breakfast bar, stock up with good local food from Broom House Farm which also has a coffee shop, return to your peaceful haven and another convivial evening.
