- Parking is in a public car park at the end of the road but there is the option of a reduced fee if you give advance warning to the owners
- The steep stairs to the bedroom might prove tricky for some
If you want to be in this amazing city but want a place all to yourselves in a sweet 17th century cottage all to yourselves - this is the place to be. A 'one up - one down' cosy brick cottage with its own wood burning stove, secluded flower filled courtyard. St Augustine's Abbey is across the road and the Cathedral and the busy city life is a 5 minute stroll away. Relax in comfort.

We were looking for somewhere to stay whilst attending a wedding locally and this really hit the spot. A great cottage at the end of the Garden, beautifully presented with a fantastic bed. The best nights sleep in ages. A short walk into the Cathedral was a bonus. Ursula was one of the best hosts we have encountered - welcoming, full of local knowledge on where to eat and where to go and served up an amazing breakfast on the two days we were there. Great to be able to sit outside in the quiet courtyard. We will return and certainly recommend to others.
