Little Barn, Briston

Little Barn has been a most enjoyable place to stay, Sally & Ken have been most welcoming and helpful and have created a very comfortable and charming place to stay. We so enjoyed the peacefulness of the garden and the lovely bird song. We found a lot of charming places to visit and found the countryside and villages so very pretty. Thank you Sally & Ken.

All the five star reviews are fair and accurate. Well-placed in a lovely and interesting area, this was the best holiday cottage we have stayed at in over 50 years. Everything was as good and better than expected. Extremely comfortable bed. The outlook is charming, front and back, with beautiful gardens, and the generous supply of logs meant that our April evenings were comfortable and heart-warming. Bravo Sally and Ken.

The Little Barn was a cosy, well equipped cottage in a lovely rural setting with easy access to the north Norfolk coast and places of interest. Sally and Ken were great hosts and able to advise on local pubs and areas to visit. They provided a lovely welcome pack and a vase of flowers on arrival which were really appreciated. We really enjoyed the cosy atmosphere created by the log burner each evening. We had a fantastic time and hope to visit Norfolk and Little Barn again.

We had a great stay at the Little Barn earlier this month. Do not be put off by the ‘little’, the property is a bit of a tardis and as a family we were very comfortable and well accommodated. The beds were soft and soothing and the peaceful countryside setting aided rest and relaxation. As too did the stylish interior and well stocked kitchen. The property is brilliantly situated close to the north Norfolk coast. A short drive through beautiful countryside to beaches and scenic spots. The village also has lovely bakery, butcher and corner shop complete with fine produce and helpful staff.

Sally and Ken have created a wonderful holiday home at Little Barn which was perfect for us and our little dog. They ensure that guests are made to feel welcome from the minute of arrival, and we had absolutely everything that we needed to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. The garden was beautifully planned and laid out and provided a delightfully, calm retreat. Ken and Sally's hosting was superb - striking exactly the right balance between being unobtrusive but also on hand and friendly. We'd have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Little Barn.
