- The track up won't suit low slung vehicles and can be tricky in winter
- No dishwasher - off-grid power unable to supply that and a washing machine
- WiFi quite slow so streaming can buffer
You'll feel very private here, with lovely views facing nothing but the rugged
countryside and hills. Look out for the red squirrels who come to feed, walk,
cycle (tough getting back but grand views), bring all you need and hunker
in. It will suit anybody who loves nature and the great outdoors.

The Hemmel is a stunning conversion balancing contemporary facilities (an electric car charging point that’s off grid!!) the welcome pack and locally sourced goodies was a lovely touch - the only draw back of its position is that there is nothing to hear but birdsong and nothing to do but stare at the stars (get the dark skies kit!) or look at rolling hills, watching hares race- bliss, sheer bliss.
