I was immediately transported to a rural French setting in the mid-19th century. Romance and rustic charm ooze from every corner in this beautifully put together, totally open-plan space. No TV to kill the vibe here, a place to read, converse and simply be. There are terrific walks in the area and much to see if you ever leave but why would you? The ideal place to come and decompress. A treasure.

Sawday's Inspector
Everything we had hoped for a short break away with our 2 dogs. Mary and John were welcoming leaving a very generous box of goodies for us on arrival. Beautifully decorated, well equipped and so peaceful that we felt totally relaxed the minute we walked in the door. The dogs enjoyed the enclosed field nearby and we loved sitting and doing nothing for a change. An enormous shower with plenty of hot water and the most comfortable bed made for the perfect night away. We will definitely be back - thank you
