Crown House

We just spent a week here, hosted by Sasha, and loved our experience there. Sasha was wonderful, and she anticipated our needs perfectly. The place was clean, quiet, with comfortable beds, and a fully functional kitchen with an Aga. It was just around the corner from the Crown pub, a welcoming place with excellent food much better than standard pub fare. Suffolk is a lovely part of England, with interesting towns, a beautiful coast, and of course stately homes. We would definitely like to visit the area again and if we do, Sasha will host us again.

Our first visit to Suffolk, gosh we chose well. We stayed with Sasha for 5 nights, the cottage is beautiful, very comfortable, set in a small pretty village with a wonderful traditional pub which was open about 5 nights a week at that time. Sasha's breakfasts would be hard to match, even in a top end hotel. She provides detailed information about the area if required and was the perfect host. We certainly hope to return in the foreseeable future.

A beautiful comfortable house in a beautiful part of Suffolk. The beds and bedlinen SO comfy as was the whole house. We were self catering but had such a warm and friendly welcome from Sasha who was always near to help with information about the area but was also completely unobtrusive. We had a wonderful restorative week and look forward to a return visit.

We had a very memorable, special holiday staying in beautiful Crown House. Very nice and clean, well set-up, and a house full of character and charm that our whole family loved. And not to mention a very welcoming host. Highly recommend!

I spent three lovely days at The Crown House. Coming from London, I really neeed some time away from the city, fully immersed in the wonderful Suffolk countryside. I loved the breakfast and cosy feel of the house. The bed was divinely comfortable and I explored the nearby beauty spots including bracing local walks and a trip to Aldeburgh with lovely sunsets and sea views. There's so much to see all very closeby, including hunting for local produce and visiting the Snape Maltings. I would highly reccommend staying here.
