The Experience
There are endless walks through gorgeous woodlands, or you can join the South Downs Way on foot in half an hour – you’ll find some lovely cycling routes too and a safe space for bike storage. Return to your smart, sleek roost with underheated polished concrete floors, soaring beams, wide windows, comfy seating, games, books and a smart TV for a spot of recuperation.
Cook up a storm in the very well-equipped modern kitchen (there’s plenty of prepping space for more than one cook) and eat at the roomy round table. On balmy days you can sit on the pretty patio with its troughs of flowers and garden furniture, admiring the rural views and listening to birdsong. It’s a restful spot.
Sleep peacefully in one of two en suite bedrooms, both with oodles of storage space, good reading lights and remotely operated blinds. The Rogate Village Stores is half a mile and sells most things, The White Horse pub is opposite the church.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Barn, a tasteful conversion with great attention to detail. We loved the comfy bed and the luxurious bathroom which spoiled us for choice with a bath and a shower. All was spotlessly clean and well presented - a very cosy stay, thank you

The Barn was exactly what we were looking for — not too far to drive from London, but we felt like we could have been many hours away - it is totally peaceful. The Barn itself is very comfortable and beautifully presented. The two ensuite double bedrooms are exceptionally comfortable, and the spacious sitting room provided a very welcome place to relax. The decor was very tasteful, and felt brand new, with thoughtful design touches throughout. The setting is idyllic, we enjoyed lovely walks across neighbouring fields and beautiful South Downs. We'd happily return.
