The Experience

There are endless walks through gorgeous woodlands, or you can join the South Downs Way on foot in half an hour – you’ll find some lovely cycling routes too and a safe space for bike storage. Return to your smart, sleek roost with underheated polished concrete floors, soaring beams, wide windows, comfy seating, games, books and a smart TV for a spot of recuperation.

Cook up a storm in the very well-equipped modern kitchen (there’s plenty of prepping space for more than one cook) and eat at the roomy round table. On balmy days you can sit on the pretty patio with its troughs of flowers and garden furniture, admiring the rural views and listening to birdsong. It’s a restful spot.

Sleep peacefully in one of two en suite bedrooms, both with oodles of storage space, good reading lights and remotely operated blinds. The Rogate Village Stores is half a mile and sells most things, The White Horse pub is opposite the church.
