- Letting children play safely in the garden while you eat outdoors on long summer evenings
You should know
- The four bedrooms share two bathrooms – one with a shower, one with a bath. There is no loo or bathroom on the top floor
- Dogs need to be kept on a lead as the owners' chickens will be roaming about and there are sheep in the surrounding fields
What a relief to find such an authentic renovation with everything just as it should be and totally unpretentious. A grand spot for proper family holidays, children will be charging about making dens, dipping nets in the river, cooks will be very happy with the delightful kitchen, and nature lovers will be thrilled with the wildlife and the birds. Walkers will be out all day.
