We think you'll love
- Gazing at the constantly changing sea views from every window – it's restful here
- Heading down to the beach early in the morning, birdwatching, looking for interesting stones, feeling full of ozone
- Buying freshly caught lobster, crab, prawns and if you're lucky scallops from The Ferry Fish Van on Wednesdays
You should know
- The pub in the village only serves food at weekends
- If you want more sophisticated food than the local Co-op offers, you'll need to bring it with you
With a combination of wonderful linens and sea air from walking along the beach right outside your door, you're guaranteed a great night's sleep in any of the Harbour Cottages. Comfortable and cosy inside with views out to sea to die for, you will not be disappointed and I'm sure want to return. A beautiful unspoilt part of South West Scotland, not to be missed.
