- Setting off on wonderful walks or cycles from the door, having a picnic by the river, enjoying the freedom of the countryside
- Buying freshly caught seafood and bringing it back to cook – perhaps outdoors. Summer evenings go on forever up here
- Lighting the wood-burner in the sitting room and hunkering down on cold wet days, playing games, reading, watching films
You should know
- The two bedrooms share a bathroom upstairs but there's an extra loo and shower downstairs
- You're welcome to use the fishing hut during the day. If you want to have supper there you just need to let the owners know
- Maximum two dogs, £20 per stay
We had a wonderful stay. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, with stunning views all around that made our trip even more special. The cottage itself was fantastic—spacious, spotlessly clean, and very well equipped. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and there was everything you could possibly need for cooking meals. There were plenty of clean towels provided, and having access to a washing machine was a real bonus. One of the highlights for us was the secure, fenced-off area for our dogs, which meant they could enjoy themselves safely. We would definitely love to return!
