The Experience

Immerse yourselves in this bucolic setting, allow the interiors to soothe with natural wood, zero pretention, thoughtful design and lighting. There’s no lack of comfort with a big squishy sofa, a TV which swivels, a sound system and level access. Sliding doors from the living room take you to the deck for memorable al fresco meals, the kitchen has all the gear for even fussy cooks, and you can eat watching the ever-changing skies and the light on the water.

The large double bedroom (can be a twin) has similar clean lines, excellent reading lights, lots of storage space and that stunning view for tea-in-bed gazing; the wet-room-style shower has low-allergy Miniml soaps and lotions. Next door you’ll find a utility room for washing/drying, and a cupboard with games, boules, yoga mats, binoculars.

Ullapool is a gentle half-hour walk along the quiet road, or you can stroll the Ullapool Hill Paths – hearty souls will enjoy tackling Meall Mòr.

Reviews

Clean lines, an abundance of light, views over greenery then the loch then the hills, with nothing to disturb. Sea eagles soaring overhead, dolphins in the loch, lots of garden birds and peace. Come for fabulous hill walking, cycling, wild swimming, revelling in nature; return to a very grown up, warm and spacious retreat.
