We think you'll love
- The spectacular walking, hill climbing, swimming – so much to do without getting in your car. The stargazing on clear nights is pretty amazing too
- Walking to Ullapool (or driving five minutes) for a goodly amount of restaurants and cafés
- Staying in. Even if the weather isn't playing nicely it'll be a treat to hunker down comfortably and watch the drama unfold through the windows
You should know
- The other half of the building is also let as a holiday home – take both if you're a larger party
- You can't nip to the shops very easily here, so bring all you need, or do an online shop ahead
- Sorry, no dogs
A treat to spend time up here among the heather and hills, with spectacular loch views, wonderful walks, and bustling Ullapool just a half-hour walk away. A place to forget about your city cares and ease into long hikes, wild swims, and much comfort upon your return.

Wow...this place is the perfect retreat! My husband and I were awed the moment we stepped into the space. It's obvious the owners and their family are true artists, both in the architecture and beautiful interior design. We decided to cook all our meals there just to soak up more of the absolutely stunning views and to utilize the fully stocked and gorgeous kitchen. The details are covered too - the bed and bedding are heavenly, the shower and bathroom feel spa-like, the furniture, blankets and sound system are top notch. Also, Sam and Andrea are incredibly kind, helpful and communicative.
