Only the inside of Glan-yr-afon has changed: the building is still a woollen mill on the outside, the river still could power the machines... the sense of real history is all around. But it's now a place of leisure and delight, spacious, secluded, in the heart of nature. Here you can cut yourself off as
much or as little, taking advantage of a very special house for young and old.

We have been to stay at Cambrian Escapes 4 times now: twice in New York & once we became a family of four, twice in Glanyrafon. We just had to return each time, we love it there so much. Peaceful, beautiful, cosy, elegant and picturesque all at once. Staying in a place so rural but within striking distance of so many gorgeous places to walk and swim as well as within an hour or two of the coast is just too good to pass up and Tanya & Duncan are amazing and attentive hosts. We return because we can’t NOT return! And we will be back again soon.
