If you want a lovely escape for 2, this is the place. You can laze in the hot
tub, walk along the river, sit in the Shambala garden as the water and the
occasional fisherman floats by. It's a great central location for exploring the
history and the wines of Bordeaux and the Dordogne

Sawday's Inspector
We had a wonderful holiday at Shambala with the most charming hosts in the world - Kit and Eric. You can really relax here, right on the Dordogne and in great nature. We didn't want to go home anymore, surrounded by art and tasteful furnishings. Fantastic!
