The Experience

Bowl down the tree-lined avenue to arrive at a grand manor in an elevated position overlooking the verdant Dordogne river valley. Stepping into the impressive hallway sets the scene: marble underfoot, light flooding in, and a magnificent curved staircase leading to myriad zones for relaxing, reading and playing games.

The fun continues with a full-size billiard table, library and TV room stocked with films and games plus a comfy living room. The jewel in the crown is the full-length terrace. Sip aperitifs and gaze over the illuminated formal gardens, tinkling fountains and breathtaking views as the sweet scent of lavender swirls in the air.

The high-tech kitchen is a knock-out with two of everything, a vast island and a beer pump! Six elegant en suite bedrooms plus an extra annexe room complete this superb picture. Float in the pool, explore eight hectares of private woodland, discover the Dordogne’s delights.

Reviews

What a fabulous place, such luxury secluded away in the woods yet completely accessible to all the treasures the Dordogne valley has to offer. Certainly a holiday you will never forget and hopefully will entice you back again and again.

Introducing

Michel de Crayencour

After an epic house hunt all over France, Alexandra and Michel, who are originally from Luxembourg, bought and renovated the manor in 2022. It needed a huge amount of work but they took on the challenge with gusto and have been certified five stars by the local tourist board – no small feat.
