La Badoussie

A fabulous house, beautifully furnished and plenty of room for us, three generations, ten in all. Set high on a hill overlooking a beautiful valley, totally silent. The bread run was a short car trip for us in the lovely village of Daglan and the best supermarket in Sarlat quite a bit further. It was incredibly hot touching 40, so days were spent around the really fabulous pool. A really good size, lots of loungers and parasols.

This was a second visit to La Badoussie for my family, after a super time there a few years ago. It didn't disappoint on our return! It is such a lovely flexible home with a wonderful pool (the children ages 6months -15 years adored it) ample terrace space on which to relax, and well appointed with all the facilities required. The pretty village of Daglan has a super boulangerie, a small shop for your day to day needs and a weekly market, but there is so much to see and do in the area - we particularly liked Cenac which has a superb patisserie!

This was our second visit to La Badoussie. It is an incredible house with beautiful gardens. The house is very well equipped with three separate dining areas and a newly refurbished pool. Each of the five bedrooms is en-suite which is great. I would highly recommend this property.

La Badoussie is a wonderful house, set in a quiet location, with amazing views. The kitchen is large and well equipped, including a Nespresso coffee machine. There is a fantastic shaded terrace for outdoor dining too. The pool is fairly small but does have plenty of loungers and lots of parasols. There are five double or twin rooms, all a good size, and all with an en-suite. Overall, highly recommended!

La Badoussie is a special place. Brilliant layout, lots of space and privacy for everyone. High quality finishings and furnishing, great kitchen fully equipped; a lovely patio for eating outside with a million dollar view; and a fabulous swimming pool. We rented bikes and did several day trips in the area. Consider an e-bike as there is a steep hill to get to the house. Location is excellent, there are numerous outings within an hour’s drive-history, scenery, the works. The nearby village of Daglan is charming. Very highly recommended!!
