L'Esprit des Chartrons is a real haven of calm, right in the heart of
Bordeaux. Each room has its own unique décor, and I personally loved
personal touches such as paintings made by Brigitte. I could see myself
sipping a glass of rosé on my own terrace after a day of exploring the city,
or lounging with a book in the cosy living room by the wood burner on a
winter's day! Very special.

Sawday's Inspector
Lovely place with good-sized quiet and comfortable rooms decorated in lightly funky style. Our room (Mauriac) gave on to a little terrace on an inner courtyard. Excellent location with a tram stop at the end of the street. Secure parking is a real boon (although getting the car in and out takes careful manouvering). Brigitte gave us good advice on places to eat nearby. We would definitely return. Takes credit cards.
