Sublime!!

Absolutely fab place to stay, especially for big families. Loads and loads of room for everyone not to feel squished and all sorts of quiet hiding places for dedicated readers. Outdoor kitchen, gardens and pool hugely restful.

We all had an absolutely brilliant time: 8 adults with 6 children (3 - 8) in tow. They loved having the freedom to run around, form little sub groups, share the bunk room, eat the pastries that we brought back each morning, go pony riding play tennis, visit the Duras Chateau and enjoy the Saturday market, The house created a really lovely spaciousness and freedom for kids to just enjoy themselves together. It is very well equipped, stylish and comfortable, big baths, comfortable beds, etc. so everyone felt relaxed. Lots of fun things to do around as well. Highly recommended.

Fabulous holiday, thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. There is so much space, and the outdoor pool, tennis courts and kitchen area were amazing and very well appointed. We even made our own pizza's in the pizza oven which was one of the many highlights.Can really recommend for families with children/teenagers - we hardly left the house. The only downside is that the week went too quickly, and none of us wanted to leave!Thanks for a wonderful week - hopefully we will be back.

La Gravouse is heaven. From the moment we arrived from the moment we left I enjoyed every aspect on this beautiful place. The house is a home from home and the grounds are phenomenal. Everything that you could wish for from a holiday. The swimming pool is the perfect size and temperature. The beds are dense and luxurious. The pizza oven, the barbecue, the eating areas outside. The tennis court is superb, ping-pong and table football were all thoroughly enjoyed. I loved the little laundry and ice machine. I loved the cook calm drawing room. Highly recommend the house - it was perfect in every way … will be back next year. We are used to a certain amount of comfort and space and it didn’t disappoint!

Such a great house for a large group of people as it feels so spacious and no one is on top of each other. The super king beds and furnishings are all fantastic too. The kids had a fabulous time playing tennis, swimming and exploring the grounds and we loved relaxing in beautiful surroundings and hanging out on the terraces. Simply a fantastic home and grounds! Our group of two families (including four children) loved staying here. The house is really well located, easy to get to, very secluded amongst beautiful countryside and yet only a few minutes to drive to the shops and town. Very spacious house, well equipped with everything we needed and lovingly decorated and furnished without being too formal. Loads of outside space in the garden and even fruit on the orchard trees. We especially enjoyed the shady terrace for eating outside, the pool area complete with a inflatable toys and loungers and the tennis court.

Take the family and escape from it all in this spacious family home. Practice your serve on the new clay-style tennis court, let the kids free on the large park and pool and watch the sunset over the vines from the comfort of the terrace lounge.

We were a group of 8 friends and had a wonderful cycling, swimming, tennis (and occasionally relaxing!) holiday at La Gravouse last September. I highly recommend this beautiful villa and the surrounding countryside. It feels as if you are stepping into your own home and, as well as all the great facilities, there are also plenty of places to relax on your own if you are visiting in a big group.
