Lounge on the veranda sofas and watch others exert themselves in the
delightful pool; sit in the shade of a venerable oak; wander through the
surrounding wildflower meadow and oak woodland. Do you get the picture
yet: total tranquillity and not another person , or house, in sight. Yet all the
attractions of the south west are nearby - ancient towns and villages,
castles, all a touch more authentic than the treasures of the Dordogne
valley, and certainly less frantic. A place to relax and let the hours drift by.

We have been visiting the Lot and Dordogne for nearly ten years and this house is one of the best. The location is beautiful and has a peaceful and relaxing feel. Watching the buzzards flying overhead was about as busy as it got. The house was delightful and had everything we needed - the welcome basket was a lovely touch. Tim and Lindsay were incredibly helpful and kind. Particular highlights were sitting on the veranda overlooking the pool for breakfast, lunch or an evening meal - or just any time really - and driving up to the house with the dogs greeting us felt like coming home.
