The Experience

A tee’s throw from surfing beaches, fringed by pines in the smart enclave of Chiberta, is a serene, secluded, 1960s villa. Here live Brigitte and her adorable bulldog Icare, happily sharing their home with guests. The setting is lovely: bamboos and palms on lawns, exotic plants in pots, and two ground-floor suites opening to a decked terrace and a fabulous pool. There are three bedrooms in all: clean, contemporary, restful in white, with splashes of sunshine from fabrics and towels. Bathrooms are… flawless! Walk to bars, restaurants, beaches, golf; set off for the lovely towns of Biarritz and Bayonne.

Reviews

Lovely villa with great facilities and a wonderful location in the beachside town of Anglet close to Biarritz. The hospitality afforded by Brigitte and her team was first class. Easy walking to the incredible beach front and the numerous bars and restaurants close by. Only the rain during the first 2 days took the gloss off a wonderful break. Would definitely return and happily recommend.

Spent a lovely week at this Villa. Location and facilities were excellent and the hospitality extended by Brigitte and her team was top class. Only the weather was dodgy but lots on interesting attractions to visit a short car journey away. Would definitely recommend

What a lovely place! We found it to be better than the pictures suggested and our host Brigitte was so very kind and accommodating. The local coast line is perfect for surfers and walks (weather wasn't for sunbathing when we went), with large clean beaches free from the crowds of Biarritz beach. Plenty of golf if that's your thing. Do hire a car if you want to get around (we didn't, it wasn't ideal).

Andrew, London

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our room was very comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious with fruit, sheep's yoghurt, bread, pastries and good coffee. Brigitte is a charming and helpful host. She gave us good local restaurant recommendations and walking suggestions. The location is convenient for Biarritz, Bayonne and the surrounding countryside. The local beach is 10 minutes walk from the house and close to two golf courses (L'Imperatrice - 9 holes and Chiberta - 18 holes).

Kate, London

Well located in a residential area of Anglet, just outside Biarritz, close to beautiful sandy beach and golf. The house is very well appointed with spacious rooms. Charming , warm welcome from Brigitte who speaks good English. Good breakfasts and dietary requirements catered for. Rooms on the front can be a bit noisy if the window is open but nothing too significant. Comfortable beds, good shower. We felt well looked after and would definitely go again. Excellent food shopping nearby. Well positioned for the airport. Parking outside on the street. Everything we wanted. Top quality
