The Experience
The owners have created a space that you’ll want to return to. This big ‘neo-Provençal’ house and terraced garden is a tranquil hideaway with plenty of space to kick back. Hang out in the lovely pool area or a secret corner of the garden.
Artist Morag’s colourful paintings liven up the walls while local antiques, good kilims and personal mementoes make the house a home. Sink into the sofa before the open fireplace and browse the vast selection of books – there are plenty on Provence. The well-kitted out kitchen is inviting and you’ll soon be piled round the gleaming antique refectory table for big, chatty meals.
Fine big bedrooms and pretty tiled bathrooms await upstairs. Head out for water sports of every description on Lac de Saint Cassien, local markets, golf at Terre Blanche, or walking in the hills behind Callian.

We and our wider family have had many memorable and special holidays here since 2008. It's a lovely house, with great charm and 4 air conditioned bedrooms. The views from the terrace and the pool are delightful. There is a good pool and plenty of room for sunbathing around the pool. The pool area has secure access re small children. The house is within walking distance to the shops and restaurants of Callian. The market at Feyance is charming and there is plenty to see and do in the area.

We have stayed at this beautiful house on many occasions over the years, it is simply a delight to holiday there. The house is superbly equipped to an extremely high standard and it’s position, a relatively short walk from the charming village of Callian, offers long distance views over the plain below, which can be enjoyed whilst having dinner on the superb terrace. The pool area is a haven of tranquillity set amongst luxuriant vegetation creating a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather in Provence. This is one of our favourite family holiday destinations.

A super return trip to this lovely house was just as special as the first time. The location is stunning and the house delightful with shady and sunny outside spaces, a flower filled garden and a beautiful pool. The accommodation is spacious , light and airy and is spread over three floors. The kitchen is incredibly well equipped! The highlight of most days was sitting on the terrace enjoying the wonderful view and soaking up the sun shine whilst sampling the excellent local produce. The village is only ten minutes walk away and has good restaurants too.

Location
The neighbourhood
Perched on the hillside, Callian is a ten minute walk or two minute drive and has shops and two very good restaurants. One of the oldest villages in the Var, it's a lovely spot to wander around. Cruise the clifftop roads, sunbathe on the beaches (the coast is a 30 minute drive), browse the weekly markets - whether it's food, antiques or bric-a-brac that take your fancy you'll find it here.

Introducing
Robert & Morag Yorke
The Yorke's live in the UK - Robert had a career as an engineer and deep-sea diver while artist, Morag, has a flair for colour and impeccable taste. Robert takes the bookings but you'll be met by Emily Dove who lives locally and will be on hand during your stay.
Robert and Morag’s house is heavenly - 557 Heaven! My family have been lucky to stay there the last two Septembers. On 3 different levels, the house can be cleverly closed off so as not to feel too huge for 2 people but can be opened up to comfortably accommodate 8. It is a lovely family home, not flashy but so welcoming with all you could possibly need for a relaxing stay in the real South of France. We love the view, the terrace, the garden with the private pool, olive trees and herbs, Morag’s paintings, fabulous kitchen… and being walking distance to beautiful Callian. We love it!
