The Experience

You’re in an elegant part of town. The florist below is like an art gallery and shoppers get their fix nearby. No need to worry about noise though; the apartments are in a historic Liberty style building in a leafy residential area. Both have high ceilings and period details, beds are good, the linen is first-rate, and – a rarity for Italy – towels are fluffy.

Casa Broggi, on the first floor, has a homely feel with a mix of antique pieces and paintings, and a sparkling green mosaic bathroom. The kitchen (with hob but no oven) is great for the basics. Little Broggi, on the third floor, is bright, cheery, and ideal for couples or friends. Many of the furnishings in the colour-themed rooms have a story to tell; the kitchens have all you need and Jane leaves a welcome hamper of local goodies.

Stroll to a tree-lined park, have an aperitivo at GUD (best to book), eat wonderful Milanese food at a huge choice of restaurants.

Reviews

Jane has loved welcoming Sawday's guests for many years and the feeling is obviously mutual with so much positive feedback about her warm hospitality and very comfortable apartments. An ideal base from which to explore sophisticated Milan which has made incredibly large strides over the past decade into a modern and efficient city center with a multitude of cultural events.

Our two night stay in Little Broggi was an absolute pleasure. The apartment is superb and everything is to an exceptional standard. We had a wonderful welcome from Jane who is so lovely and helpful- she very kindly let us stay in the apartment until the evening on our final day as we had a late flight home, which meant we could enjoy another day exploring Milan without lugging our suitcases along. The apartment is in a very safe area and is very secure it is also in an excellent location with a small organic supermarket opposite and the metro 10 mins walk away. Highly recommended :)

Vivienne, Geneva

Little Broggi was perfect for a mother and daughter travelling together. Central AND SAFE location, easy to get to and from the central station. The apartment was spacious, well equipped with everything you would need, and immaculately clean and tidy. Would definitely return. Jane was very welcoming and helpful and gave us some good advice and tips. All in all a real gem, it made our time in Milan very special. thank you Jane

Nick, Huddersfield

Our two-day stay at Little Broggi was a real pleasure. Everything was to an exceptionally high standard, from the friendliness and clarity of Jane's email communications to her warm personal welcome on our arrival at the delightful apartment which is spacious, stylish, comfortable and well-equipped. And what a welcome basket! Little Broggi is conveniently located in a pleasant area of Milan, only four bus stops away from the central railway station and with plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from. We certainly hope to return.

Isabel, Edinburgh

Lovely, confortable accommodation in a super location - we loved staying here as it's in such a traditional Milanese building, with all the charm and elegance that brings. We have actually stayed in both Casa and Little Broggi on separate trips and both were just super. All needs are catered for and Jane is very attentive to the little details that make holiday accommodation special, and she is very welcoming. All is extremely clean and well maintained and was so nice to return to after a day out walking the streets of Milan. We will be back and will enjoy future stays here.
