The Experience
A small 19th-century townhouse in which history and modernity combine. It has been remodelled by artist and eco engineer Luca – zero-impact energy applies and feng shui principles shine. Find a cool, calm interior, bright with natural colours and bold canvases, polished cement floors and wrought-iron banisters – best of all there’s a little wine cellar from which to choose a sundowner.
The double is off the open-plan living room while the family room is up some steps and opens to a big dining terrace, replete with lemon trees in pots and a roofscape that twinkles at night. Find simple wrought-iron bedsteads, antique floor tiles and painted wooden shutters. Bathrooms are also cosy, but perfectly formed. This place isn’t for giants!
Cook in the kitchen with a grand view, you’ll find everything you need along with some treats. Step out to the stunning cathedral, restaurants and grocery stores. Or head to heavenly beaches for a day out.
