The Experience
There’s a very special atmosphere here – no traffic noise, just birdsong and the comforting moo of the cows on the farm. Fresh milk and meat products are supplemented by a vast array of fruits and vegetables from the owners’ patch or from friends who also grow. It’s all about the good life – views soar to the mountains and you should slow down in your mind and body.
Choose to make your own breakfasts (the kitchens have all you need) or ask for a delivery of seasonal delights: crusty freshly-baked breads, butter, milk and yogurt from the cows, homemade jams; enjoy a slow breakfast in complete privacy surrounded by the uplifting views. Once a week you can enjoy dinner at the farm’s own Trattoria, a small and welcoming space serving amazing food.
Visit the farm shop and stock up, join a meet and cook evening with Markus and Annamaria, learn more about the farm, enjoy wine pairings or set off for hikes in the mountains and valleys.

Location
The neighbourhood
An uplifting landscape (just one pylon), rural and secluded but not isolated. The nearest town is Gais, where you'll find shops and restaurants. You're near to two ski areas and there is ski storage at the farm. Visit Lake Braies, one of the most iconic lakes in the region, as well as the Riva waterfalls – spectacular natural attraction. Let Markus and Annamaria guide you to local places.
Local points of interest from Annamaria Moser & Markus Peintner
- Bruneck – Just a few minutes from Perntal: stroll through the historic town centre, enjoy a coffee, and then walk up to Bruneck Castle, home to the Messner Mountain Museum Ripa.
- Kronplatz – Just 10 minutes by car from Perntal, Kronplatz offers breathtaking 360° views of the Dolomites. In winter, it’s a top ski resort. At the summit, discover MMM Corones, LUMEN and the Concordia 2000 Peace Bell.
- A perfect day trip to the Ahrntal Valley – Explore the medieval Taufers Castle, then continue to the three spectacular Reinbach Waterfalls. The two attractions are easy to combine for a memorable excursion.
- Antholz Lake – A beautiful mountain lake in the Rieserferner-Ahrn Nature Park. The easy circular trail around the lake is about 2.7 km long and is perfect for a relaxing day surrounded by nature.
- Lake Prags – The "Pearl of the Dolomites". Turquoise waters, majestic Dolomite peaks, and Mount Seekofel in the background – one of the most spectacular places in the region. The lake can be explored along a scenic circular trail of around 3.5 km.
- Discover Gais – The idyllic Waalweg trail winds through forests and meadows. In summer, Baggalocke, Gais’ natural swimming lake, is perfect for a refreshing break surrounded by nature.

Introducing
Annamaria Moser & Markus Peintner
The farm has always been family run, with milk production for Mila connecting it to the South Tyrolean dairy tradition. Annamaria and Markus's vision has created a new chapter in its history, allowing visitors to experience it all while still enjoying privacy and modern comforts. It's a natural evolution of a family business rather than something created purely for tourism.
