- It's an old stone house with quite a few steps and different levels, not suitable for those less mobile
It was great to find an old farmhouse dating from the 1700s which has, kept almost all its original features. The interiors have the original, rough, small stone walls and haven't been plastered over or painted. Monia's philosophy of genuine, old Tuscan hospitality is evident. Valentino the chef is very round and jolly and definitely adds to the homely atmosphere of the kitchen.

My family has visited the Villa Palagio for the past 22 years. We have stayed in the villa as long as six weeks in a few hours three days if you want to experience a true Italian lifestyle in a village where Italian family life style and culture dominate the whole experience, come to Panzano especially visit the Villa Palagio. Monia Piccini Guarducci and her husband Franco are the warmest, most sincere and friendly vineyard owners and host of their villa. They welcome you with open arms. In my forty years of travel in Europe Azienda Agricola di Panzano is the best overall agriturismo.
