Borgo Montefreddo

We had THE most wonderful stay at Olivia’s gorgeous property— such a beautiful , quiet and serene location tucked away in a hilltop and overlooking the vineyards on the border of Tuscany & Umbria. It was our first family trip since Covid— and we couldn’t have asked for more! Olivia was extremely communicative and supportive the entire time—

I just got back home from my incredible trip to Europe. I visited France and Italy in four weeks (I took the longest holiday in the last 20 years) to celebrate my 50th birthday with my husband, my children and some friends who joined in the different places where we stay. They were all selected through Sawday's and they were all just perfect. My daughter took care of all the contacts and booking, each place was a surprise for me. If I will be able to organize a trip to Europe, I beleive I will do it with Sawdays again. In each place the hosts were friendly and helpful

We stayed at Montefreddo da Sopra...top of hill with house of 4 bedrooms and adjoining residence with 2 bedrooms...place accommodated our group of 10...lovely rooms, living space and pool...views exceptional...Olivia is very helpful...arranged for welcome dinner...wonderful...would stay here again...need a car, but train station nearby...easy visits to Siena, Montepulciano and others...perfetto!

My family and I had the most relaxing break at Montefreddo, the house and the surroundings were gorgeous and it was great to be able to switch off an relax and take it all in. The house was very spacious and comfortable, and the pool was great too. Would definitely recommend a day trip to Orvieto while you're there!
