The Experience
Both apartments are wonderfully central bases (just three minutes from the Arena) from which to head out and explore – and delightfully welcoming spaces to return to when you’ve had enough. Interiors are spacious and calm with modern lines, plenty of comfortable seating and enough storage space to unpack properly and feel at home. The kitchens feel reliably well equipped rather than just holiday add-ons, so you can cook properly during your stay and don’t have to go out for every meal.
Bedrooms have carefully chosen linen, thoughtful lighting and plenty of nooks and crannies for storing things like sponge bags and clothes; bathrooms have big walk-in showers, clean lines and thick fluffy towels. You’ll find guides and local books by the entrance so you can plan your visits in comfort.
Step out for an awesome combination of architecture: Roman, medieval, Renaissance, Napoleonic and Austro-Hungarian jostle happily in these ancient streets – inhale history.

Location
The neighbourhood
Verona, steeped in history and with stunning architecture, is also surrounded by hills, so you're never far from nature. Take a stroll through the old town, cross the iconic Ponte Pietra then gently climb to Castel San Pietro for magnificent views. There are two excellent cafés a short walk from the apartments, some superb restaurants serving Veronese dishes and as much culture as you can absorb.
Local points of interest from Silvia
- The Arena - An ancient Roman amphitheatre only 500m from Gavi Suites. It's famous for its opera shows and pop music concerts.
- Verona is known as the city of love where Shakespeare set his famous tragedy Romeo and Juliet. You can visit all the places described by the playwright such as Juliet's house with the famous balcony, Romeo's house and Juliet's tomb.
- Piazza Erbe - The Roman market still preserves its lovely atmosphere with lots of stalls, shops and bars. This is the place to be to enjoy an aperitif in Verona.
- Just in front of Gavi Suites is Castel Vecchio, the medieval castle that was the home of the Scaligeri family who governed Verona for centuries. Sunsets from the old bridge are magical.
- Within walking distance of Gavi Suites you can find several restaurants for any budget where you can enjoy the Italian cuisine, as well as lively bars and an excellent pastry shop.
- Less than half an hour's drive from Verona is the amazing Lake Garda where you can enjoy many different activities.
