- One side of the bed is tucked under the eaves – mind your bonce!
- Access to the foreshore is via a small vertical ladder which can get slippery
- You get a generous box of logs from the owner's land
This idyllic waterside retreat is brimming with character and rustic luxury, the perfect place to escape from reality and be at one with nature. The views over the beautiful Kingsbridge Ria are stunning and can be seen from every room, even the shower. What better place to sit than on the deck with a gin and tonic from the honesty bar, watching the ever-changing ebb and flow of the watery landscape.

We had a wonderful stay at Bowcombe Boathouse! Rain or shine it was such a special place to spend our summer holiday. Whether we were sunning ourselves on the deck, having an early morning cup of tea on the window seat, or taking Miranda's kayaks out for a spin, we were surrounded by the changing light and colours on the water. Miranda's background as an artist shines through in the interiors, clearly put together with much love and creativity to make a relaxing and beautiful space.
