Alexandra Hotel & Restaurant

My parents and I enjoyed a wonderful recent stay at the Alexandra Hotel in Lyme Regis - We had such a lovely time. Everything oozed of quality and we enjoyed every moment of our experience at this wonderful hotel! The customer service and attention to detail is of the highest standards. We had a two night stay at the lovely Alexandra Hotel. We loved it. The hotel is in a beautiful position, our room was very comfortable and the decor has been tastefully upgraded with interesting colour schemes and fabrics. All the staff were friendly and personable too. The breakfast choice was excellent and beautifully presented. I’d highly recommend The Alexandra Hotel.

A fabulous classy hotel. We stayed for my wife’s 70th birthday admittedly in the best room - the Countess - which was spacious with a large bay window with wonderful sea views. We couldn’t have wished for a better week. The hotel itself is first class in every way- the decor, facilities and warm, friendly and helpful staff. It’s well situated at the top of the town of Lyme Regis with spacious grounds, well manicured and ample seating areas. We didn’t eat dinner as we wanted to travel to different areas but the breakfasts were outstanding with multiple choices. We’ll definitely return.

We returned to the Alex to celebrate our Silver Wedding anniversary. It did not disappoint! What a treat to wake up to a view of Lyme Bay every morning. The room was comfy, stylish and extremely clean. The staff were welcoming, friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was a veritable feast to start the day! We celebrated with friends in the Conservatory restaurant. Delicious fresh local ingredients. We loved sitting in the library with a newspaper and soaking up the sea air in the gardens. Truly the best way to wind down. We cannot wait for a return visit!

Had a wonderful time at The Alexandra for a special birthday with 20 friends who all thought the hotel staff were amazing, the setting overlooking the sea at Lyme regis is stunning, and the food is delicious. Everyone is so helpful and the hotel is beautifully decorated with intersting memorabilia of Lyme.
