Mayfield Studio

Wonderful bolt-hole in the Costwolds. Painswick is a delightful village, with lovely cafes, a beautiful church, and fabulous views in all directions. Mayfied Studio is a funky, comfortable self-contained space next to Sara's beautiful home. She has created a soothing and relaxing space, and filled it with generous touches aplenty. We particularly liked the ability to cook our own breakfast when we wanted, with goodies supplied by Sara. A really special place and one that we hope very much to return to.

We had a magnificent weekend at the Studio. Sara coudln’t have been more welcoming, accommodating and helpful. She has all the local knowledge and the studio was cosy and warm despite the cold weather. Attention to detail is superb and hence breakfast was wonderful. We are already planning our next visit.

We had an amazing weekend staying at the Mayfield studio. Sara is the perfect host and the BnB set up is stunning, your own perfect little bolthole with the added bonus of cooking your own 'B' when you want. Sara stocks the fridge full of delicious breakfast items and every detail has been thought of including a stash of biscuits to go with your tea! We really didn't want to leave. Painswick is the perfect weekend escape too, no need to leave the village there is so much to see and do! Thanks again Sara, we will certainly be back!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Mayfield Studio. Our host, Sara, greeted us with a very warm welcome and instantly made us feel at home. The accommodation itself is very absolutely beautiful - spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and with great attention to detail (right down to delicious fresh coffee and a stack of DVDs for when you want to relax and unwind). We wouldn't hesitate recommending Mayfield to anyone looking for a place to explore the local area. Thank you for making our trip away so special.
