A lovely homely cottage in what we thought was the most beautiful part of the island. We came here for a week retreat away from the lockdown and found that it was perfect ! The location is incredible, with amazing coastal walks either straight out the front door or a short drive away, and we're a few minutes drive from Ventnor and the beautiful botanic gardens. The amenities are great, we loved cooking in the kitchen, the sea views from the kitchen, the bedroom and the bathroom are to die for.. and the whole place has this edge of the world feel, whilst being close to everything. Idyllic !

Spacious, clean & well-appointed cottage in a peaceful, idyllic setting but nonetheless just a short drive to many interesting places. An ideal base from which to tour the Island. Fresh eggs, milk, butter, bread and a nice bottle of wine were a thoughtful touch as were the very clear directions and guide to appliances etc. Very comfortable bed in the master bedroom (there were only the two of us) which is also blessed with a wonderful view of the English Channel (take a good pair of binoculars, you'll be glad you did!). Mole End would be our first choice for a return trip without question.

We had a wonderful week at Mole End! The cottage is wonderfully well equipped and feels like a home from home! It is tastefully decorated with a fantastic selection of books to read. The chilled rose wine and food essentials on arrival was a lovely touch and much appreciated. The beautiful free-standing bath with sea-views was a real treat. Mole End is in a wonderful location and we loved our evening walks to the beach. We couldn't recommend it more highly! Thank you so much for a great holiday!

We had a fantastic time at Mole End. The location is second to none - sitting on the terrace in the evening sun, looking out over the sea, was the perfect way to relax in the evening after a busy day out. The holiday house has everything you could need and more. We were very comfortable there with our baby. Plenty of local reference books and ideas for walks from the front door, which we really appreciated!
