Bwthyn Gwe, St Davids

Another lovely stay at Bwthyn Gwe. The cottage is perfectly situated in St David’s with the garden overlooking the Cathedral. It is very comfortable and Hamish seems to have thought of everything visitors need for the perfect stay. It’s warm and welcoming with a comfy bed and a kitchen with all you need. Dawn is always welcoming and it is comforting to know there is someone we can call on if a problem occurs - but so far, no problems!

We stayed at Bwthyn Gwe in St Davids recently. It is definitely one of the most comfortable holiday cottages we have ever stayed in. Warm and cosy with plenty of space. And the king sized bed is wonderfully set to give a perfect nights sleep. If you're a nature lover and like a relaxed vibe, this is perfect.

Bwthyn Gwe is a remarkably comfortable cottage since Hamish and Linda have anticipated and provided for every possible domestic requirement. We had to persuade ourselves to venture outside because we were so comfortable, curled up with a book in front of the wood-burning stove. Dawn had prepared the cottage to perfection and was available on most days to provide friendly and helpful advice. This was our second visit to Bwthyn Gwe and it provided us with a week of carefree relaxation.

We really loved it, it had all the charm of a country cottage but set in the heart of St Davids within sound of the Cathedral bells and with a garden! It has an ideal location offering all the amenities, shops, pubs and things to do on rainy days with easy access to walks and coastline. The location is secluded, private and feels just a little bit special. We love St Davids and have stayed in a few properties but this was the best. The cottage was warm, really well appointed, lovely white cotton sheets and towels. Everything promised in the profile was there.

We had a fantastic stay at Bwythn Gwe - a beautiful one-bed cottage. Very well-equipped, comfy bed and sofas, perfect location. Would highly recommend - Dawn was fab at check-in and with a query during our stay. Beautiful views from the garden and some great food and pub options in town. Thanks!
