Les Tourterelles

We had 2 fabulous weeks at Les Tourterelles. The area has so many wonderfull attractions but it was always a highlight to come home each evening to our special French Retreat in the quiet of Le Peyruzel. The space was very cosy & comfortable on the top floor of the old stone cottage filled with memories of yester years. Loved having breakfast on the sunny balcony listening to the joyful birdsongs. Annie was the perfect hostess. Would be back in a flash!!

We had a very enjoyable stay at Les Tourterelles. Annie was a great host and couldn’t do enough for us. The accommodation was excellent and the bio pool was a real treat during a very hot week. Thank you Annie.

What can I say that hasn't already been said. However, I will try. I visited with my wife Val who made the booking. From start to finish Annie was the perfected host. The cottage is beautiful inside and out. We had access to a wonderful plunge pool in the most exquisite garden area. Very French. As for the accommodation it is extremely well kept and very clean. The bathroom was quite large, with two wash basins, toilet, shower and a bath eith views over the rooftops of the surrounding hills. The bedroom and living area is really cosy and works extremely well. The location is perfect.

I stayed almost two weeks and during that time became familiar with the village and some of the residents. The apartment at Tourterelles is elegant, spacious and dignified. Its location within the village is tranquil. There is a plethora of attractions in the surrounding countryside sufficient to interest most people. Annie, is an extraordinarily interesting person who went to no end of trouble to ensure that my experience was as memorable as it was enjoyable.

A return visit to this charming gite high on a sunny hill above Daglan. Annie has created a cosy and comfortable ambiance in this stone house well positioned for peace and quiet away from all the cares of the modern world. Located near all the ‘must see’ sites of the Perigord Noir it’s a great spot for exploration. Beautiful bed, top class linen, a generously sized en-suite and a well equipped kitchen all put together with impeccable taste and no pretension add to the experience. An outdoor pool provides welcome relief on those hot days..check it out and enjoy the experience.
