Les Tourterelles

Thank you for a wonderful week's stay. Beautiful little apartment, beautiful little hamlet, such a thoughtful host. We've so much enjoyed exploring this lovely region! Nothing short of heavenly!

Annie is very friendly, and made us felt some welcome to her place. All the local tips from her were gratefully received. We still think of the restaurant that does all you can eat mussels in Besse on Thursday nights. Once again a big thank you , Annie! MY and GRAHAM

We had a fabulous week at Le Peyruzel. It’s a beautiful , quiet village, and Annie’s cottage was perfect . We enjoyed long walks at Monpazier and Rocamadour, canoeing on the Dordogne from Vitrac, moules frites night at the Chien Vert in Besse, the night market in Daglan, and visiting the gardens at Eyrignac and Marqueyssac. It was great to come back to Le Peyruzel after a day out and have a dip in the plunge pool. Annie was a wonderful host, and gave us some great tips on things to do - we loved our stay at Le Peyruzel!

Annie must surely be the kindest and most helpful host in the whole of Sawdays! She seemed to know exactly the sort of places we would want to visit, and when we didn't want to leave her beautiful cottage (or rather the coolness of her rain-filled plunge pool; we were there when the temperature was in the high 30's!) we were made to feel completely at home. The Dordogne is beautiful, the crowds are avoidable and Les Tourterelles is definitely the place to stay!
